Pepperdine University is a Christian university committed to the highest standards of academic excellence and Christian values, where students are strengthened for lives of purpose, service, and leadership. How are you prepared to contribute to Pepperdine's mission and community of faith, learning, and service?

Since I was young my religion was always an important factor in my upbringing. As I grew older I had lost faith with God due to unfortunate events that continued to eat away at my belief. I threw my life away and wandered alone never thinking about whom or what was watching over me during my darkest hours. As I grew older I met a friend who had taken me in to his home and helped rekindle the relationship with me and my savior. After that I realized that I should give back to the one who had been watching and continuing to watch over me.
Soon enough I started to attend my friends church Sheep Gate Evangelist Church and in no time I was a well-respected and loved member of the Christian family. I was once lost but later not only was I found but I was also shown a new way. After attending for a few months I decided it was time to give back whatever I could to the Christian community. Before I knew it I was a Sunday school teacher teaching the wonders of God and also incorporating my past experiences to somewhat help others learn of God’s grace and love. After I knew it I started using my talents for the church, starting from playing piano for praise band and soon enough becoming an accountant and event planner for the church’s college group.

Also having cousins who wish to become pastors and reverends in the near future, I wish that once I become successful that I will be the first to help build churches for them. Not only will I hope to build churches I will help others who were like me, young men who were once lost but later found. Why? Well that is simple, not everyone is or will be as blessed as I was. I have made it my mission to help those who are like me, simply because God sent someone to help me, I find it only fair that I help them.
After attending Pepperdine University I hope to fully utilize not only the institutions vast network but to learn from the best of the business leaders and be guided to foresee my goals come true. I hope after attending Pepperdine I will have gained not only a greater depth of knowledge, but a greater understanding of faith, business, and leadership.

I know I shouldn't post this up but I am kind of desperate
