Hello! New to CC and a prospective gator

<p>Hi guys im a prospective gator who loves UF.. dad, bro, and sis went there the family line runs strong throughout UF...</p>

<p>Anyways I would like to ask if you could please chance me and see if I have a reasonable chance... Also, I am applying as both a transfer and a freshman so please consider both. </p>

<p>MISC INFO:
Dual Enrollment + High School student (will provide records for both)
In-State
White,Male
As I said above, my Dad and Bro+Sister went to UF so im legacy</p>

<p>High School Record:
3.72UW, 4.2W (UF gpa should be around there)</p>

<p>SAT: 1170 composite (did horrible I know.. ;-p.. lack of study)
630 Math, 540 CR</p>

<p>EC:
-Varsity Wrestling two years
-Varsity track one year
-Eagle Scout
-Some community service at local library
-Have some honor roll awards...
-Went to a leadership convention at Wash DC</p>

<p>Community College Record:
GPA= 4.0 for 43/60 credits BUT, it might go down because some of my teachers are hard this sem so lets say hypothetically a 3.8-3.9?</p>

<p>I'd say you have a good shot, though it probably comes a lot from your legacy. Hopefully your SAT scores won't hurt you.</p>

<p>And when you say good shot do you mean for freshman or transfer</p>

<p>I meant for freshman admission. You really should go compute your UF GPA using a copy of your transcript (or old report cards) and come back here, because they can be very different. Though my weighted GPA is a 4.0, my UF Weighted GPA is only a 3.57.</p>
