Hello! Please chance me for UCs and others :]

These are my stats (generally):

BTW, Im planning to major in architecture at these schools (at least, at the ones that offer architecture) and will be turning in art portfolios for those that accept them.

I have my recommendations from school, but I also have one from a professor at Washington Unviersity in St. Louis who taught me at an architecture program over the summer.

Cal Poly SLO
University of Notre Dame
Washington University in St. Louis

RISD
Santa Clara University
UC San Diego
UC Davis
UC Irvine
UC Santa Barbara
and possibly UCLA.

Thank you in advance! And please speak/write honestly, I welcome criticism and its okay if you bash me :]

hello! i think your chances at the uc’s are pretty decent, especially since they also consider would consider your school’s API index. for ucla, it might be a tad bit more competitive for you to get in unless you have one hell of a portfolio. my friend got in with sat scores like yours through the art dept. for cal poly slo, i think you’re about in the “a bit above the average” group for people applying for architecture and environment design, but as for the other schools, i don’t think i can help with that. i hope this helps :)

Yes it does, thank you for your input!

Anyyyone else??

do you have any other extra curriculars? leadership positions? usually schools like to see that and a sport… but most of these schools are matches… aside from ucla and usc. maybe try and interview at usc if you haven’t already to get a better shot? and as for ucla…good luck. =) and raising your sat scores is always something to do if you have free time.
