hello, questions that a large amount of ppl may have

Hello everyone. I am currently a fall freshman at Michigan State University.
I am a hospitality business major and i would greatly like to transfer to Cornell.
However I hear lots of stories that a greater chance is available to one if
he/she applies junior year. However I definetely want to apply sophomore
year.

As for the general question.

Does it hurt to apply for the school for fall '07 as a sophomore? and then
again in spring '07 if rejected? then for '08 junior if rejected previously?
I'm already determined in my mind that I will keep striving for Cornell
no matter what.
I have a few questions for myself as well:

MY high school gpa is probably about a 3.3 or 3.4...maybe even lower
because i totally bombed senior year.
However I'm prepared to make up for it in college and have a goal of 4.0
I am also planning on joining the school's hospitality club, hopefully
get a remarkable position in it.

In my junior year of High school summer break, I worked at the Ritz-Carlton
Hotel.
Also I worked at P.F. Changs and Outback Steakhouse my senior year.
I also will get an internship at either Ritz-Carlton or some other resort this
summer (sorry do not know where exactly).
Since by the time I apply for fall '07 I would not have done the internship,
should i apply for spring semester?

thanks

didnt u post this on cornell's board? whats the difference? your post hasnt changed....

He/she wanted a different prospective in the transfer forum. What’s the big deal?

Yes I did post this on the Cornell board but if you go and check it you will
see that nobody gave me an answer.
And also.. I thought the first question where I ask if multiple transfer attempts would matter
could answer some people's questions....u missed that one ;D

If you can't find your answer here, I think you should call Cornell. I hear Cornell logs your phone calls too (I think they use it to identify dedicated students...Duno). Cornell has great counselers that are very willing to help you into their college.

Really I've called up there and asked questions like 3 times and they never asked for my name.
