hello - serious question

Hello, I'm a current junior who really wants to go to harvard.

I have a pretty good gpa and SATs. I've also won around 3-5 national awards this year.

I mean, I've heard from friends that it is EXTREMELY HARD to get into Harvard. And I see that from the results of our school.

But, what makes a person stand out? I know that most of times, it's a crapshoot. But, there must be something about the individual the admissions people liked. What do they look for?

Is there even a right path? The fixed direction?

Thank you sincerely for your help.

I am in the same spot you are in... I score well and win nat. awards left and right. Even though I am still waiting for the chance to apply and get accepted, I do know that extra curriculars can make all the difference. Think wisely about what you do with your free time. Good luck and I hope to join you at Harvard!!!
