Hello

@stealth117, All those schools have vastly different campus cultures. Any idea which one you would pick?

^^I’m not like most other people; some people fit in at only a certain “type” of campus, but not me. I’m equally comfortable among the jocks, or the nerds, or the artsy people, primarily because I’m a blend of each. So I’m just waiting to see where I get in, following which I’ll make my decision.

^^ Pretty much the same, maybe a bit skewed towards geekiness though :stuck_out_tongue: Athough the only artsy people I really find are online <_<

That’s great to hear. But its like safe driving, you may be a great driver but that’s only half the battle - its the other people on the road that you need to consider. If only everyone were as comfortable amoungst diversity but, like you said, its not the case. UChicago will be focused on academics while Brown is pass/fail and MIT may be nerdy and throw great frat parties (a rare combo) while Darmouth is outdoorsy, and so on. Sounds like you have a good attitude about it, so best of luck!

^^ You can’t really say where you’d be a fit when you’ve had none of those at your high school.
Also, we don’t get to chose our acceptances really, so the priority at the moment is getting in, not WHERE you get in.

^ +1

^^+1 to that :)

Yep, I definitely hear that.
