barium: Are you sure? My certificates would arrive in late feb- there would be no point in sending them.
waleed: Since application reading session hasn't begun, i guess it would be right to tell them that you wouldn't be taking Biology. I don't think they'll ask you your Actual result..

How can you graduate in Nov if you don't get your certificates until late Feb?
If you really don't get them until late Feb, I hope you told the colleges you are applying to. Your file will be incomplete without them (or at least a midyear report).

Doesn't graduation date means the date we finished our school? My staement of Result would arrive in Beginnng of Feb.

If not then I have a problem..

The transcript sent with my School report contained:-
My O level grades
AS level grades* Predicted for 5 Subjects
A2 level grades* Predicted for 5 Subjects

Now what should the transcript to be sent with Mid year report contain?
My guess is that it would contain my actual A level results of the 3 subjects i gave in Nov with Predicted grades for 2 subjects i am taking in May.

Either do that for your midyear report, or simply submit the midyear report form by the deadline (Feb 1?) saying that there have benn no new grades since the initial report and that your final A level results will be available .... (whenever you get the results from the May testing).

I indicated my graduation date as the time when I will get my official certificate (that's also when our graduation ceremony takes place).

Ok, thanks barium. I think i will do as you said because there's no point in sending Predicted grades 2 times.

If your schooling ended in Nov, what are you doing now?

I graduated in November also. I went on a holiday overseas and I'm currently debating whether I should attend my country's university (which I've been accepted to) for a couple of months before I get my decisions in April.
If I decide not to enrol, I'm going to be.. very bored.

I guess my graduation date would be August 07 because i am taking two more subjects.

NoFX, if you choose to attend a university in your country, wouldn't that make you a transfer applicant for US universites?

ok, im really depressed so could u first help me here. Should i just tell them I am not appearing for biology and thats it?

I guess so.

barium, apparently I would have to drop out before I recieve my credits. If I recieve credits, I'll become a transfer applicant.
Here, the cost for a semester is $2000... I'm just wondering if I should be shelling out $2000 to attend for half a semester (if i do drop out in April - no refunds will be given).
If I don't attend, I might run into a risk of not getting into ANY colleges at all :(
It's so hard to decide...

Tough choice. Have you not applied to any safety that you wouldn't mind attending?

NoFX, from that point of view, would it make sense NOT to spend the $2000?
I know what I would do...

Yes but if I don't enrol, I might have to face the prospect of not getting into any school at all and i'd have to reapply to colleges (which i do not want to do!).
I applied to some 'safeties' but I'm not sure how safe they are for me :/

I would hav asked the colleges about this situation..

^ why? (10 char)

Well, if u hav so much trouble in deciding..better tell the situation to the colleges and ask them if u can apply or not..

NoFX, you got me wrong. If the $2000 don't kill you, there's no point in gambling with your education to save some money.

Yeah... $2000 wont kill me but it is still a lot of money to pour down the drain. Oh well I still have a month to think about it hehe
