Well here we go...its for the common app short answer...i know its not good i put it off till the last min. (literally like 25 min ago) and i need some help
Here goes:

After three years of six a.m. workouts, five-hour practice sessions, and a dedication I can only identify as obsession, I neared the apex of tennis career- my first International Tennis Federation match. I had played countless state and sectional tournaments, eventually acquiring a top 500 national ranking. Since the 9th grade I had established wining a round in an international tournament as my single goal for tennis. Realizing greatness requires sacrifice, I left the familiar settings of a small private school for the opportunity only a full time tennis academy could offer. At five hundred and eighty miles away from home I was living anything but a normal high school student's life. There were no dances, parties, or lock-ins, just a single purpose for tennis. As I walked to court 9, the backdrop of the climactic match, anxiousness overflowed my mind. Two and a half hours and countless bottles of water later, I immerged victorious, the closest match of my tournament history. Though at times the task seemed immense, and the sacrifice too great, I have come to appreciate and value my opportunity.
