<p>Hello! I will be a freshman this fall and would like some advice on classes. I’m a computer engineering major looking to possibly switch into computer science and engineering. Currently I am registered for MAT 21A, COM 5, EEC 1, and ECS 10, totalling 13 units. However, I am also thinking about adding FST 10 which would thus make me have a total of 16 units. Is this too much to do for first quarter or is this doable? Thank you!!</p>
<p>You need time to adjust to the pace, and change of being on campus. Stick with 13 units.</p>
<p>Keep the schedule you currently have. That’s a good mix of classes and will keep you plenty busy to start out with already.</p>
