<p>You, my friend, is really funny. Did you actually meet him? Or was that a ruse to get people interested? ;)</p>
<p>The most important thing about Improving Paragraphs is that you need to learn to read to get the "gist" of the paragraph. If you can grasp what the main idea of the "essay" is, then you should be able to answer the questions, since most of them revolve around what sentences would help to bolster the point made, what sentences would further support the idea...etc. If you don't know what the essay is talking about, then you are pretty much dead for the question set.</p>
<p>Here is what you should do - you should skim the essay quickly to get the general feel of the "essay," ignoring the grammar and structural mistakes that would definitely be there. Once you are okay with the idea of the essay, start doing the questions. You will encounter a few "correct the grammar" mistakes or questions that ask for pronoun antecedent and stuff, but you should know how to do that from Improving Sentences - so the real thing that's different is knowing how to revise a working draft and getting your ideas in order.</p>
