What sort of high school do you attend? Where do most of the kids in the break point for the first quintile get accepted for college? That is what will be the best indicator for you. Have you taken any SAT2s, AP tests yet? What are those scores?

My opinion is that your reaches are just that, reaches. If you will be happy at UT or Texas A&M, you are fine. If not, you need a few choices that are not as selective as the other schools on your list. Lehigh, Bucknell, Skidmore type schools would fit the bill.

My Sat Subject Test Scores Are

750--U.S. History
730- Math 1

A lot of kids in my honors/Ap classes go to Emory, Vanderbilt, Rice (5-10 kids got in last year)....All the other kids end up going to state schools.....(80 percent of the kids end up going to 4 year colleges...)

My essays are pretty strong, been working on them for the past 4 months.....

Do you guys think any of these schools may accept me, I can pay the cost of attending , but I just have to get in.....

how can UT be your safety when your not even in the top ten percent of your class?

I have no idea about your chances....
