Help a science/music kid find some colleges!

Okay, so my dream school is MIT but I recognize that I have a very small chance of getting in there. So I need some more colleges - safeties, matches, and reaches. I want to be in close proximity to a city. Possible majors are chemistry or neuroscience.

Stats
White female
Rising senior
SATs (first and probably only attempt): 730CR, 710M, 720W
SAT II's: Math II: 700 (will probably retake), Chem 710, History 750
GPA: 4.3W, don't know unweighted
Class rank: 1/180ish from a school that normally sends most of its top grads into the state university system. In the past 3 years we've sent 1 to Tufts, 1 to Brown, 1 to NYU, 1 to Colby, a bunch to WPI and RPI and basically everyone else to state colleges and Us.
-By the time I've graduated I will have taken 5 of the 7 APs offered at my school - Chem, Bio, English, Calc, and History. Taken the most rigorous classes offered in all subject areas.

Extracurriculars:
-Pep band (10-12)
-flute lessons (5-12)
-dance class (preschool - 12)
-theater techie (10-12)
-NHS (vice president) (11-12)

Jobs and volunteer work
-I worked at a pharmacy for about six months from the summer between soph and junior year into junior year. Next month I will become a camp counselor with my town.
-lector at church for about an hour a month
-40 hrs/year volunteer work for NHS

Leadership:
Vice president of NHS. Also junior year was head of a committee that planned class night for the seniors.

Awards
-Rensselaer medalist

Note: It's pretty much required that my college has a pep band or marching band. A pep band would be preferable to a marching band, though.

Cornell and U Rochester come to mind, but I am not sure U of R has a marching band.

I was in Cornell Pep Band freshman year. Great fun. Hockey games are crazy fun. Learn to play the theme from Love Story....

Cornell Marching Band is top notch. They go up into the stands and serenade the fans.

Rochester has Eastman School.

Carnegie Mellon or JHU maybe?

Which state are you from?
