Okay so I did significantly better on the june ACT than the june SAT-this was my first time taking the SAT but i had already taken the ACT before. I scored 1400/1600 (2120/2400) on the SAT. However on the ACT I got a 34 composite (34,34,36,30). So, what I'm wondering is that when I send my ACT score & subject tests scores to certain universities, because they will inevitable see my reasoning score, would the colleges look down on my scores because of my worse SAT score, or should i simply send my ACT score to colleges that say subject tests are "recommended" but not required. Or will not sending my subject tests scores hurt me in the long run? I just really only want colleges to consider my ACT score. I probably didn't make too much sense here..

I think I see what you're asking, lol. And yes, when you send subject test scores in, colleges will see your SAT I score. Definitely take subject tests, it would be foolish to only send the ACT score. Besides, a 2120 isn't a horrible score - it's not great, but it's pretty good.

I'm in almost the exact same boat as you - I have a 34 ACT and a 2130 SAT. I'm planning to retake the SAT for a 2250 or higher, which I would recommend you do as well. Then, send ACT, SAT I, and SAT II scores.

If for whatever reason, you can't retake the SAT I, I don't think colleges will see a 2120 as a severe hinderance. Good subject tests and ACT will hold it up.

lol well i took 2 subject tests and my scores weren't too great on those so i was thinking of maybe only sending in my ACT score. (ush 780, lit 760) I just didn't know it would look bad not to send my subject test scores. I don't think collegeboard likes me :-(.

Those are pretty good subject test scores! Definitely send them, it looks better if you fulfill all the requirements the colleges recommend, IMO.

If you don't want to retake the SAT, just send the 2120 + subject test scores in, along with your ACT, and I think you'll be fine.
