So I took the ACT in September and noticed that when I had to fill in my birthday that it was wrong (It showed Feb 2 1996 wheras my real birthday is Feb 6 1996) . The sheet says if it's wrong then just to fill it in as it is so I did. I didn't really think much of it after that and was just really focused on my score. So I got a 32 and was ecstatic as that was exactly what I was going for. However, I recently went to sign up for the ACT again and was reminded my birthday was wrong once more. I know I should not sign up for the ACT again with my birthday being wrong so I went to the FAQ and it said I should contact them 3 months since I got my score report to have them change my birthday. Since it's 3 months after, will they repeal my scores and make me take it again? I am going to talk to my guidance/college counselor about it tomorrow but am very frightened that they will take away my test scores for a measly 4 day error. Does anyone have experience with this or have any advice? Oh and they don't allow you to change it on the website if you didn't already know that. Thanks.

I am pretty sure that they won’t take your score away. I think that you should try to call ACT. This is the number that I found 319-337-1270. This is the Student Services – Registration number and it says they are open M-F from 8-8 central time. If they are unable to help you, I am positive they can direct you to someone who can. I have heard that they are really nice and helpful and I am sure they would like to correct the error as well. If you would feel better about it, you could take the number to your guidance counselor and he/she could call with you. They may need to verify your birth or identity with a picture ID or birth certificate, but I can’t imagine that it will be any more than that.
I would not want to lost my score either if I got a 32. Congrats! and good luck. Let me know how it turns out.

Thank you so much! I will definitely do that! You don’t know how much of a relief hearing that is! Haha

I called the student services and got it corrected in 5 minutes! Phew, that really got a burden off my chest. Again, thank you so much! :D

You’re welcome! I am so glad it worked out. And congrats again on your awesome score.
