Hello, I am an adult transfer student, I just got an acceptance letter to the University at Buffalo.

Unfortunately for me, I was not accepted into my chosen major, which I find confusing and frustrating because 1) Buffalo was my first choice, particularly because of the price, and 2) ALL of the other colleges that accepted me (including at least one that ranks higher than UB) have accepted me into my major without difficulty.

The admissions packet from UB is very confusing as to what I am supposed to do now. Should I be submitting course articulation information (i.e. catalog info for my classes)? I did also receive my transfer credit report and "what if" report, but the latter has a whole bunch of "TR 999TR" on it.

Unfortunately for me a lot of the classes I have taken were a VERY long time ago (many years)... I do not know whether I can still find catalog information for every one of them. But right now, I don't even know what classes the huge list of "999 TR" refer to, so I don't know what catalog information I'm supposed to scrounge up. Very confusing. :(

I've tried calling the UB advising for my department but no answer yet so I am wondering if anyone on this forum has transferred to UB and knows what I am supposed to do now.

Thanks,
Caliris
