<p>Note: I am an Undergraduate Transfer student with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 (weak, I know). My major, psychology, is not impacted at San Marcos.</p>
<p>When I applied this past November to several schools, I only applied to one local school. (I live in Sourthen California) I have already been accepted to one of the schools I applied to, Humboldt. I have been accepted to a school so what is the problem? As of February, I took on a position at a job that has EXCELLENT internship programs for my major. I have networked with the staff and so far everything is going really well. I really want to continue working at this job but I have not heard from the local school, San Marcos. This puts me in a tough situation.
1) I have only been at my job for two months and it would look awful on a future resume if I quit in August after only 6 months, especially with all the great oppurtunities I have here.
2) The Intent to Register Date for Humboldt is due May 1st.
3) Cal State San Marcos will be notifying people until May 14th.</p>
<p>I believe I am a local area student. Why haven't I heard from San Marcos? Does this mean I am going to be denied?! Help!!</p>
