Hey guys, I got accepted into UC Irvine and I will be attending there this fall. I got a page that is listed as Personalized Transfer Conditions. Here is what it reads:

Requirements for your provisional admission are listed below:
Complete 90 quarter (60 semester) units of UC transferable coursework prior to transfer.

Maintain a minimum overall transfer grade point average of 2.70.

Complete the following course(s) with the grade specified, by the academic term specified below:
No additional coursework has been specified at this time.

Complete all required coursework for your major.

Have a 2.0 GPA, or higher, in your last regular regular term (excluding summer session) at the last school(s) attended, and be in good standing.

Be in good standing at any prior UC campus attended.

Complete the following conditions:
No additional items have been specified at this time.

Submit ALL official high school and college transcripts by July 15, 2010. Summer records are due by September 15, 2010. Click on MySchools above to review which transcripts have been received, and which ones are still required.

Submit ALL official test scores by July 15, 2010. Click on MyTests above to review whether any test scores are required, and whether they have been received or not.

Check the UCI student Message Center frequently for updates and announcements on MyAdmissionsApplication@UCI.

Meet all conditions specified in the UC Irvine Transfer Student Contract.

I was just kind of shocked as I heard from many people that you need to maintain a 3.0 for the contract to be valid. So does this mean I can have like a 2.5 gpa this semester and have an overall transfer gpa of lets say 2.7 and be able to attend UCI this fall? Sorry I know it seems straightforward but I'm just a little confused. Can somebody clarify please? I appreciate the help, thanks :D
