HELP!!! Am I an automatic Reject??

I considering deferrence almost auto-rejection. And unless one wins Intel/Westinghouse/big award, then chances are slim to none that one would get in RD considering that he did not get in ED.

That's a great story though: 3.2 gpa and getting in without extenuating circumstances. Wow. But how often does that happen? I bet less than 2-3% of columbia's applicants are under 3.2.

I didn't state that Columbia's average GPA was 4.0. 3.8 sounds fine. But if one gets 6 C's in high school, it doesn't bode well for the applicant. I feel that she might be deferred/rejected. I'm not arrogant, but I feel I am realistic?

thank you duckstamper, but when a person makes it a point to post their opinion three times they can begin to be seen as arrogant. Unless you have new insight dont keep posting the same negative thing.

Thank you

um the recurring negativity sounds like insecurity.
and i am of the opinion that antisthenes will get in (i loved his essay) and the thread starter has a shot.

alrightee DUCKstamper  you've had your fair share of expression here - now go back to the Penn board where they actually care... ;)

o yes, and concurrence to what Contessa said about antisthenes' and the OP's chances.

glory---lets talk.
