<p>What I don't like about this schedule is that I would only have 2 math classes a week, and I would prefer 3. I also don't want my chem lab and my calc class (which will most likely be my two hardest) on the same day. The good part is that Wed. is a pretty chill day (and I think I'm going to need that)</p>
<p>What I don't like about this schedule is obviously the very odd time for PSY 99. I'm also not partial to having classes at either 8:30 or 8:45 everyday. What I do like is that I will have my chem lab on a day that won't be too crazy. Plus, I have a question...is it manageable to have my chem lab and EGR 10, 10 minutes apart?</p>

<p>So - I like that both schedules have built in "lunch" times to regroup, get some work done and - right - eat. I have to say, the first schedule looks <em>much</em> better to me, and I wouldn't worry so much about the 75 minute versus 50 minute math classes... Not having four different things in one day is a good thing for Schedule 1, too.</p>
<p>To be honest, they both seem interesting. They'll both probably have the same number of freshmen in them (although I just checked and I'm surprised at how few spots are open for freshmen in PSY 99...guess it was popular with upperclassmen this semester). PSY 114 appears to be a new class, because when I went back for a few semesters trying to find a better description of the class (when I was registering) it was never listed. PSY 99 is just a general survey class that I've heard is good from friends who have taken it. Honestly, I don't think you could go wrong either way, and both will probably be interesting. Neither seems to be much more difficult than the other, so whichever one fits into your schedule nicer/is still open when you register/you have a better feeling about, go for it.</p>
<p>paniwani - You just need Writing 20 at some point during freshman year, either in the fall or spring. The OP is in Pratt, which means he doesn't have to do the other freshman requirement that only Trinity kids have to do (a seminar) and can put off Writing 20 until the Spring without a problem.</p>
<p>wannabazn88, it's def. manageable to have lab and EGR 10 ten minutes apart. Unless they've made some drastic changes since two years ago, EGR 10 is all informational lecture and the grade is attendance based. You won't have to take notes or anything. Plus you can easily walk from Gross to CIEMAS in 10 minutes</p>
<p>ok, so if i have the choice of either selecting writing 20 or a social sciences/humanities elective and i plan on double majoring as a BME and Econ major, shud i take econ this fall instead of writing 20?</p>
<p>paniwani - I would say that if you can get into a WRI 20 that sounds interesting to you in the Fall, do it. If you can't get into any of them that seem interesting to you, roll the dice and try for Spring. This is a part of "registration window" management that comes into play the first six semesters.</p>
