Help an Indian kid stop freaking out

Hey guys,
so im a sophomore and up to this point i had all a's my whole life and was saludictorian of my class of 400.
recently, i recieved a B in ap statistics which was expected. however, i also failed a pre-calc test which dropped my 92 average to a 89. it will show on my transcript as a B+. how much of an impact does this have on my admission to colleges? i have killer ec's and a steller sat score as well as a lot of aps. however, how much will coleges look at my sophomore year and go damn he f'd up?
thanks again

If you have all that coupled with a B+ I wouldn’t worry too much. Although, you are Indian so you’re kind of in a bad situation regardless. We are in the same boat, I am a freshie though. Best of luck, you have pretty “stellar” stats.

How do you already have “stellar” SAT scores as a soph? Anyways, some ivies like penn tolerate one B without a major effect on decisions. Just make sure you keep up good grades next year.

I wouldn’t worry about one or two bad grades. Just do well junior and senior year and you’ll be okay :)

i mean idk what to do
ive been getting 2200’s blue book practiice tests
but i mean damn, goodbye harvard right ■■■■■?
does everyone who goes ivy have straight a’s their whole life?

In a word: no.
In two words: heck no.
B’s are nowhere near the end of the world in admissions, provided you don’t have too many and show an upward trend. Bounce back!
