Help answering Interview Questions??!!

Hey guys,

I have an interview with a major company for an entry level job. I've always done well getting interviews, but during them I get nervous or I can't think of good stories.

Do you mind providing sample answers to typical questions asked during interviews, such as the ones below. I do not plan on using them word for word, but rather for inspiration.

Thanks!

Can you please tell me about yourself and why did you choose accounting?

2: Tell me about a time you failed?

3: Describe how you handle conflict?

4: How do you handle criticism?

5: Tell me about a time you were a leader?

6: What do you consider to be your greatest strengths? What are your weaknesses?

7: Tell me about a time you worked under pressure and with deadlines?

8: Give me an example of how you successfully dealt with someone who was difficult

9: Why Ernst and Young over other accounting firms?

11: What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to do?

12: What motivates you most in a job?

What kind of supervision gets the best results from you?

Do you prefer working with others or alone?

What is your experience working on a team (work or school)?

What do you consider to be your greatest strengths?

What personal development strategies have you used to overcome any of your weaknesses?

I would sit down and write out your own answers to each of those questions. Then get a video camera or use your computer to video tape yourself delivering each of those answers. Play it back and listen to tone of voice, look at facial expressions, etc. By coming up with unique situations for yourself, you ensure a better delivery because you’ll be less focused on what others have said and won’t second-guess yourself. You might want to YouTube “Behavioral interviewing” as well for some help on the “tell me about a time…” questions. There are a lot of good examples that you can watch, and video shows so much more than reading text on a screen.

i’m sure you can google sample answers to most of these (if not all)
