HELP!! AP French

AP french in my school is crazy hard and the teacher is a little psychotic, but would it be weird if i stopped rather than going on to AP and took some easy ap like psych? Or will it really matter at all? (Im shooting for ivies)

my major isnt really oriented to french or psych or anything btw

Yes, it will matter if you are shooting for Ivies.

Harvard, for example “recommends”/requires “four years of a single foreign language.”

Dartmouth:

That’s two of the eight, but you get the idea. AP French is the better move even if the teacher is a psycho.

If you want to apply to Ivies, it would be better to do AP French.

oh ok ill just try to endure one more year then.

any other advice would be appreciated

I would stick with the AP French. It’s difficult, but AP psych is known to be one of the easiest of the AP classes. Keep challenging yourself.

thanks tiggy! ill take that into account

do adcoms really look at that course schedule that meticulously?
