Help AP reporting decision

Hello,

I received a 105%, the highest possible grade, in my IB Bio class. Because the IB and AP was coseeded, I decided to take the AP exam (our school pays for the test, so I figured what the heck). I got a 1. Idk how, it shocks me, it lowered me from being an ap scholar with honors to just ap scholar. I will be applying to cornell, and they ask for ALL AP scores, should I not send that to them, all of my other APs are great, idk what happened. I'm thinking I might get lucky because I was never in the AP bio class, if I don't report, they might assume I never took it.

Please help!!!

BTW, I will be majoring in business administration

Based on Cornell’s Admission Requirements page, there is no mention of AP scores. Generally, AP scores are not a requirement for admission so I think you are mistaken. (I am very confident, but I might be wrong though) On the Commonapp, you can choose to unofficially report your AP scores if you want them to see the score. You can pick and choose which ones to put on your application.

Btw, the AP awards are defintiely not a big deal for schools at Cornell’s selectivity range. Don’t sweat it.

Also, you were weighing the possibility of disobeying a mandate (that is not real to my belief) to send all AP scores by not sending one. Whether it is SAT or ACT scores, if a school asks for ALL, I would follow their instruciton and submit all scores. Cornell requires ALL SAT scores.

I’m not familiar with IB at all. If you received 105% for your IB Bio, would you get college credits for it?

what did you get on your ib test? mention sl or hl :O

I don’t know much about IBs but I do know they are simular to APs. In APs that grade will help you for GPA purposes and high school rigor. The 1 (if doesn’t have to be sent in which I beleive it won’t have to be) is only to get college credit and doesn’t play a roll in college admission.
