I’ve been studying for my AP World final Sunday/Monday and took it Tuesday. I underwent a giant cramming session for it, and then took AP English Lang today where I spent 5.5 hours (I have extended time). It’s 7:00 PM, my test is in 13 hours and I cannot focus on reading my textbook. I feel so burnt out and unmotivated. What should I do? I honestly find World History so boring. I think I can manage a 4 on the test – a 5 is possible, but unlikely, and a 3 would be my worst (I doubt I’d get a 2). I just feel so unprepared but I can’t seem to focus. I’m also coming down with a cold and feel terrible.

My main worry is the essays. How do I prepare for those? Sometimes I look at a prompt and have no idea what to write. ;[

If you’re feeling THAT horrible (I don’t think I could take an AP exam with both physical illness and fatigue from a previous day’s exam), you may want to stay home and take the AP World History exam on the make up day.

Just be advised that the version that is given on the make up day is generally tougher, but that’s to make up for the fact that taking it on the make up day will buy you more time to prepare.

Yeah but I honestly don’t think I can put this off any longer. I’ve hated AP World since day 1. The sooner I get it over with, the better.

If you’ve ever had to force yourself to study something, how did you do it?

Sorry shouldn’t have procrastinated during this entire year. Time fly past really fast. Once you close your eyes and open it, one day has past. Once you close your eyes and reopen it one year has pass. Once you close your eyes and opens it once again, One life has pass. Let this be a lesson. I also have trouble with these too.

Good Luck.
