Help Application Emergency!

I applied to Yale SCEA, but I was rejected. I had to include my "why Yale" short answer in the additional because of technical issues, but I absolutely think I should alert Harvard and my other schools as to why this happened. Should i send a fax, email, etc. and also what should I say. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance!

Bump!!!! 10 Char

what technical issue???

man i feel bad for u

once i got to a certain point in the text box it wouldn't type. i didn't think it was that big of a deal, but now im really nervous

Were you over the character limit for "Why Yale"? Maybe that's why it wouldn't let you type anymore.

Also, you could have made a copy of your common app, altered the additional info, and sent that to Harvard, but anyway, I would probably e-mail and send a formal letter saying that due to technical difficulties, your application had the "Why Yale" blurb. It probably wouldn't hurt to tell each school that you really want to go there too, even with the incorrect application.

In the meantime: think positive! "Why Yale?" is like one sentence; maybe they won't notice that in your additional info.

ooooo god i am beyond nervous right now i am sick to my stomach i don't want this to negatively affect my chances at harvard or any other school

Then do what VFrizz suggested. Don't freak out.
