Help! Applying to QB schools on my own even if I submitted QB?

<p>I submitted my QB app and I'm pretty sure I won't be a finalist. I want to apply to Tufts and UVA on my own and submit the applications as soon as possible, so is this a bad idea? I would have to wait until October 22 to find out if I'm a finalist otherwise.</p>

<p>Also, if I'm not a finalist, do I still get any benefits from QB or do I pretty much get nothing? (no free apps?)</p>

<p>Check out the QB website for info on whether or not particular schools will allow you a free app… some do, even if you are not a finalist.</p>
