So, long story short, I need to choose an AP history class for next year. The choices we have at our school are APUSH, AP Euro, or AP World. From what I've heard, AP Euro is the hardest of the three at my school, while AP World is the easiest. I need to chose by tomorrow, as that's when I need to talk to my counselor. Which one would you guys recommend and why?

AP World, because it’s the most general of the three. I’m a junior taking APUSH now, and I think having taken World as a sophomore was a good decision, because even though we’re focusing strictly on the US, I still know generally what’s happening in the rest of the world during each time period. I imagine AP Euro would have a similar effect.

Take World, especially if it’s the easiest, enjoy sophomore year because junior year is ROUGH.

I took both AP USH and AP World History this year, AP World History was pretty fun and interesting. I actually enjoyed learning and didn’t just feel like I was cramming things into my brain.

AP World is the most interesting in my opinion. Also, it’s nice to know what’s going on in the world in relation to whatever you study in future classes.

Take AP Euro. It’ll give you a strong foundation for APUSH the next year (I’ve taken all three tests with fives but never took AP World or APUSH as a class).

Unfortunately, I talked to my counselor and she said that I can’t take an AP history class because the Honors classes at my school are “teamed” (if I take Honors English 10, I have to take Honors U.S History. No exceptions)

She did say though that I can take AP Environmental concurrently with Chemistry.
