Help! Awkward! Don't know what to do!

okay so i'm applying ea to georgetown this year. I submitted my personal data form a while back and then got an email about who to call about an interview. So I called and left a message a week ago, and never received a reply.

Should I call again? Email the guy? or just wait?

I don't want him to think that I think the world revolves around me or something and he needs to drop everything and call me... I'm just getting nervous and don't know what to do.

Advice is GREATLY appreciated. :)

Make sure you have the right number then YES call again

be nice just say you were following up your previous call because you haven't heard back. Be sure to leave your number (and area code)

Yep follow visionquest's advice.
And that doesn't work, contact the head of the alumni committee or whatever that official title is(the other person's information aside from your interviewer that was in the email sent to you).

Be persistant. You gave them a week which is alot of time. They might have accidently erased the message or something.

Thanks! Thankfully he just emailed me, saying he apologizes because he was travelling all last week.

He suggested Tuesday or Wednesday, but I will be away visiting Northwestern. Should I tell him this... I don't want him to think I value one more than the other. This whole interview is so much more stressful than it ever needed to be.

Your interviewer was not born yesterday. He will not be shocked that you are visiting other schools. However, there is no reason to emphasize this. Learn the art of "polite vagueness." Hint: it's the opposite of the dreaded, "too much information!"

If you can't make the dates, say you'll be out of town or tied up, and suggest a different date. Your reason is unimportant. You don't need to mention that you are visiting a rival school, just like you wouldn't mention that you are planning to TP the football team's homes that night.

My son also had a hard time setting up his Georgetown interview; she was a young, busy professional. I think they got together on a half-day's notice. Just stay calm and always have an up-to-date calendar of your activities so you don't double-book yourself.
