I am planning on studying psychology, and I'm trying to choose between these three schools. I'm leaning towards GWU because they offered me a lot of money, but I really like Brandeis. Also, I've heard that the psychology program at GWU isn't very strong. Does anyone know more about psychology there?

I have a friend who wants to major in Psych, and loves the professors, and the program itself. I understand they have to do research from start, if I am not wrong. I do not know how it equates to BU or Brandeis, although I did hear great things about the latter.

My gut instinct tells me that you should probably go to Brandeis. I’ve always had a feeling GW is more poli-sci/IR -oriented!

Actually, I was on a tour of GW yesterday and of the handful of students I met, none of them were poli-sci/IR oriented. My tour guide was in the psychology program. GW is really a multi-disciplinary school; I wouldn’t rule it out.

I believe psychology is one of the largest majors in the Arts and Sciences school at GW. Those I know in the major are very happy with their professors and opportunities.
