<p>Your class rank and SAT are certainly excellent. I would not be surprised if you were accepted. But one never knows for sure.</p>
<p>In state, you're in for sure. Even out of state is no problem.</p>
<p>Golubb, Michigan admissions are GPA driven, not SAT driven. There are several students on this forum who have been defered with similar stats to mdg. So to say that he/she is going to be accepted is missleading. This said, mgd has a good chance of getting</p>
<p>The person you talked to at the admissions office said that you're "still in the competitive running?" I had my app processed on 12/03...so it's been about 12 weeks for me as well...i also have almost identical stats (3.5 UMich GPA, 1450) and i received an email from them last week apologizing for the delay...the interesting thing is that Alexandre has said that a few ppl here have gotten deferred with similar stats--so i guess it could really go either way--but my friend got in with a 3.5/1450 from NJ (though he applied a few weeks earlier than us)...i hope we both get in</p>

<p>yea well this will sound weird and maybe even selfish sry but i was accepted to my ed school and am about ot remove myself from all my pplied schools but i was hoping to ehar from michingan before that as a sense of reassurance since by this time umich has def. seen my midyeasr report and it is my belief that if umich accepts me i can be a little less nevrous that amy decision at my ed school will . not be rescinced. either way i will cancel my decison from umich its just i gotta know because im real nervous about my ed school after getting 3cs 2nd mp and a d 1st mp and im hoping that if umich is good then i dont need to worry about my ed school</p>
