studied photography and art history in Florence the summer preceding my junior year. did a college-immersion program at Amherst the previous summer- took journalism and creative writing.

i was told for so long the northwestern journalism program would be perfect for me, but when that time came to seriously begin the college-search, i realized how much of a long shot THAT really was.
chances for the journalism program at University of Maryland College Park early action?
Please help! Thanks!

also any suggestions would be fantastic! i’m still very open!

University of Missour - great broadcast program.
Syracuse - one of the best j programs in the country.
University of Kansas - has a good reputation.
Kansas State - doing all the right things in this program.
The two Kansas schools won’t be difficult to get into.

There are others - but the requirements are up there with Northwestern.

University of Maryland has an excellent program. I think your chances are good.

any feelings on unc? i’ve heard very mixed things on northeastern as well
