So I'm going into my senior year and I still haven't taken the SAT yet but my PSAT score was a 148, bad I know. But I'm planning on taking the sat in October. It's summer time now and I haven't studied in July, biggest mistake and I'm so regretful and sad. But I have August and September to prepare and I'm going to take it two more times, along with taking the ACT. Is my goal achievable? Any inspiring advice? Please help. Thanks a ton.

It is of course achievable. :)

Did you walk into the PSAT completely blind? If so, you’ll be surprised how much your score will go up just by simply gaining experience with the test format and learning the ins and outs. For example, did you know you lose 1/4 of a point for each question you get wrong? Did you know how to do the grid-ins? Did you know what you had to do for each section without reading the directions? Little things like this make a huge difference.

If it makes you feel better, my blind (although sophomore year) PSAT was a 166, and my final SAT score was a 2120. This shows any sort of jump is possible.

Just do practice test after practice test and read the strategies within prep. books. Victory is in sight! Good luck :)

Most definetly! It shouldn’t be a problem. For instance the difference between my psat and sat was 400 points and I didn’t even study ahahah. I felt the psat wasn’t a good representation of sat.
