HELP! Can I still apply?

<p>I wanted to apply ID and I indicated that on part I of the application, and on all my rec forms because my school made me turn them in by October...but I haven't turned in my application yet! I needed to apply to the UC's too so I didnt get to it....but Rice is still one of my top choices even though it's a reach for me. </p>

<p>I sent the admissions rep who visited my school an email asking if i could apply RD anyways....but she hasn't responded!!</p>

<p>Should I still bother applying? I really want to go to Rice, but did I just blow my already very small chance of getting in??</p>

<p>I think if you have your counselor call the school, there is a way to get it changed. It would have been better (a LOT better) to have done this sooner, because I don't know if you can change it after the due date. I remember my counselor asking me if I was sure I wanted to do ED about a week before everything was due, and she said it could be changed if I wanted it to be.</p>

<p>grr...my counselor just told me to email the admissions rep, which is what I did, and then they wouldn't mind...but somehow I doubt they'll ignore something like this</p>
