Help... can't determining time and place for SAT

I to College Board and they tell me there is going to be a test on Nov 4 2006 ..but I can't figure WHERE in the area the test is going to be. I plug in our high school and all it does is spit back the number assigned our high school at me. How do I find out where the test will be given on Nov. 4?

If you go to this page: <a href="http://apps.collegeboard.com/cbsearch_code/codeSearchSatTest.jsp%5B/url%5D">http://apps.collegeboard.com/cbsearch_code/codeSearchSatTest.jsp</a>
and enter your city and state, you'll get a list of test centers in the city for that date. If your high school is the only place in the town offering the test on that date, that's the only number you'll get.

You need to click on "Register" for the tests and go almost all the way through the registration process. After you have put in some information, chosen the test date you want and the test you want, you will get a list of possible test center locations near your high school.

If you don't want to actually register, you can stop right there. Otherwise, continue on and ocmplete your registration online.

Okay: cross-posted with dmd and her method is quicker :).

What's "fast and easy" about this registration process! Is it good to answer all CB's questions or should they know as little as possible? Why do they need to know my income? Don't they just administer the test? Is your kid hurt if you don't supply the optional information, ie., race? How can a parent give them a class rank the kid's school doesn't rank it's kids? Thanks for all your responses.

You don't have to answer any of those questions if you don't want to.

I'm not sure of all the uses that information is put to, but if you fill out the info, your kid will get marketing pieces from colleges based on the information you provide. My S chose not to fill out that stuff and we had far fewer piles of college junk mail to dispose of at the end of the process than some other families.
