Ok, I've seriously researched this sooo much, and no colleges seems to state any sort of answer.

My ACT score right now:
-Comp (34)
-English (33)
-Math (35)
-Reading (33)
-Science (36)

My SAT score is:
-Comp (2150)
-CR (680)
-Math (720)
-Writing (750)

I've done some research and every site says my ACT is significantly higher than my SAT score and translates to around a 2280-2300. If I submit both my ACT and SAT, will colleges take both scores into consideration, or will they only use my higher score (the ACT) for determining acceptance.

Mainly Ivy League, Stanford, and Rice.

best bet is call admission office.

the standard i believe, is to consider highest scores

try posting this on the standardized test board

^ thanks. I’ll try both.

I’m pretty sure they will consider each in their own light. It’s not like an admissions officer won’t see your SATs because your ACTs are “better.” However, I would imagine in this case your ACTs would be given more weight. I was in a similar situation though and just sent my ACTs.

^ I would do that, but I also have very good SAT Subject test scores…

I had the same thing. I used score choice for schools that allowed it. I guess for the remaining schools, it’s up to you.

Hmm…I just emailed Rice University and Stanford so hopefully I get a reply from them soon. But for StanfordX, I’ll probably have to send all my score because they don’t allow the use of score choice.

Bump. Anyone else know anything?!
