- Johns Hopkins
- Northwestern
- Dartmouth
- University of Chicago
- Rice
- Emory
- Wake Forest

I am planning to major in Biomedical studies or just in the Biology field.

THANK YOU!!

Good chances at most of those schools. Even at ones like Duke and Brown I’d guess that you have a shot. Academically average/above average for all your schools and good ECs. If you plan on doing any of your athletics in college then you’ll have an even better shot.

As far as financial aid though, if your parents make more than 100k you might not be gettin much.

Thank you Laeven! My dad makes around 85k-100k, so would this suffice the financial aid standards? Financial aid would be a pretty substantial factor for me.

bumpity bump

I think you have a good chance for Duke ED. You have very good stats (SAT II and AP) for being only a junior. It seems like your school is pretty strong, that will probably help you. Between now and when you apply, maybe try entering some contests like Siemens or Intel with your Biology research.

If you write good essays, you will do well–you need to stand out from the many high stats Asians from the Northeast.

Chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1278710-chance-rural-michigan-kid-top-schools.html

Most Ivy League level schools offer good financial aid. For my school, if you make less than 100k then you pay no tuition (just room and board). Less than 60k and no tuition or room and board. Ivies are well endowed and usually don’t offer merit aid so they can put it to financial aid instead.
