Important - I am INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT -THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a C in Precalculus Junior Year.

Does that ruin my chances at UC BErekley, UCLA, JHU, WUSTL??????????? HELP!!!!!

Did you get a C for the entire year or just a semester? For an international, I’m not sure that I see any big dazzling things that make you stand out. But solid SAT score How many Bs or Cs have you gotten all through high schooll? I heard JHU likes research experience, have you done any? What science ECs do you have?

UC Berkeley would be tought, but with a good essay, you could have a shot. UCLA seems like match as of now, and if oyou could squeeze in some research, JHU might become a match too.

Well not really any science-oriented ECs for somebody with a “science passion.” SAT score should be good enough for UCLA (I think), Berkeley is possible (low reach/high match?), but JHU might not like the lack of research. JHU is probably a high match I guess, SAY score is great, class rank is solid, course rigor is apparent. Good luck :)

I highly doubt one bad grade is going to affect your overall (otherwise strong) application.
I know a friend who got into JHU with two C+s (and similar stats to yours)
WUSTL has high standards, and the UCs might be difficult as well just cuz they are in the University of California system.
The one potential problem for your app is your international student status… it’s tougher for internationals to get into any school in the US not to mention the top schools.
But like I said, I doubt one bad grade is going to affect your overall application.
And your SAT scores show a strong showing in math.
In short- Don’t worry too much!

you have a good chance! one C shouldn’t kill you since you have such a demanding courseload. the courseload, EC’s and stats give you a good chance!!!
