<p>Extracurriculars
Started the Creative Writing Club at my school freshman year
Photography club member/Animal Lover's Club member
Was a reporter for my newspaper freshman year, Entertainment Editor/Managing Editor sophomore year, and Editor-in-Chief for junior and senior year. (I also went to the JEA/NSPA conventions along with Journalism conventions in my town sophomore, junior, and senior year.) I clock almost 19 hours a week doing journalism or journalism related things!
Wrote for my school literary magazine for all four years of high school, contributing a story almost every issue.
I started my own online business during the summer of sophomore year and it has actually become pretty successful, takes the place of a full time job
I also manage the girls varsity basketball team
I volunteer for the charity Random Acts and also for my local animal shelter all the time, too.</p>

American Heart Association essay contest winner (It was a county-wide thing, I represented my grade for all of my city)
President's Education Awards Program Outstanding Academic Achievement Award (It's like this principal award thing)
I also have over 19 journalism-related awards both from the prestigious state-wide competition that is put on by the biggest paper in my state and also awards from a journalism society from my county. Like 99.9% of my life is journalism related</p>
