Is that on all three sections or just reading and math? If on all 3, sorry to say you have little chance. Your ACT is extremely low too. Race does not factor in admissions at UGA.

thank you, also i am going to take it again. Do you think that because i have been in the usa for 3 years, that uga would pass my sat score. remember that the sat is mostly english

@Ryan82, UGA doesn’t even factor class rank whatsoever. UGA really only wants 1 or 2 letters, 4 would be too much. I’d say your hard work throughout high school in America should surely be reflected in your application, and if it does, I’d say you may have a shot. However, along with GPA & course rigor, standardized test scores are also important. I’d study hard for the SAT/ACT and retake it before applying.

yeah i suggest you retake the SAT or ACT…whichever you feel more comfortable with…i kno its a big jump but try and get ur SAT 1700 or your ACT to a 25…until then…im not sure…if you really want to stay in georgia…you may want to consider GA State or KSU as well…those colleges fit your stats and are located in the heart of atlanta…regardless…good luck!

there is a small chance you will get in with your current test scores. There is chance they will look past your test scores, but most likely not. Just working on getting your scores up. Stop bumping. you have your answers from CC .

Unfortunately, I also think your test scores might ruin your chances for getting into UGA. Your GPA is pretty good and your EC’s are good too, but I dunno…only a 1280 on all three sections doesn’t fare well.
