[Help]Chance transfer --> UCLA, UCB as Econ major, 4.0 GPA

First of all, thank you for reading my post. I am a newbie here and i seek your help.

I graduated from high school in 2005, and i am currently attending a CC at Moorpark, CA, i have a 4.0 GPA from 8 college courses. ( Econ m01, English mo1, ast mo1, logic mo1, athropology mo7, history m20a, psy mo1), and i will take Calcu AP, Econ m02, Finantial Accounting I and few other classes next 2 semesters. They are all UC req, and UC B transferble. (IGETC)

I took AP Calculus AB in high school, i scored 4 on the test, but i can’t find the score any more ( i took it when i was a soph)

Qestions:

I am a California Resident and a Econ major, what UC or Universities (in CA) do you suggest? Top rankings ones first

I would like to go to UCLA or UCB, with a 4.0 GPA and AP Calculus, and a fairly good Essay, what is my chance to be accepted?

I am an Asian ( … another), would that reduce my chance to get in UCB?
(38 % asian)

Honor classes will help, but how many do i need? I am a econ major, there is no need for me to take Bio nor Chem, but should i do that anyways? What classes will help me to get in the Top UCs? ------- Plz help me on this one.

I understand that it is hard to get in UCB as an ECON major, so what majors will be an easier path? and once i am accepted, can i change my major freely? (which better share the general ed and major courses with econ)

I scored 4 on AP calculus in hs, would that be a B on my college transcript? I lost my score, can i get it somewhere again? if not, can i retake the class in CC?

Again, at the end of this post, thank your time and reply.

too many questions.

1)go look that up, lazy. don't ask us.

2)we aren't the adcoms, don't worry about your chances. apply to where it feels right and quit worrying.

3) yes, probably, since there are so many already but they won't just reject you bc ur asian

1) You have already answered yourself: UCB and UCLA!

2) 4.0 GPA is very impressive GPA and you will have great chance (match) for UCLA and even UCB if you have also fulfilled the course requirements plus having some more extra actitivities and compelling essays introducing yourself truly.

3) It might be a CORRELATION that being an Asian has a disadvantage of getting in but it is NOT a CAUSE-EFFECT so it is wrong to say you don't get in because you are Asian.

4) Honors class will definitely help but taking other classes that are not related to your majors do not help much; you should better concentrate more on your major classes; however, if you have time and wanna explore more about other subjects that you find interesting, feel free to take them. Personally, I do take some courses that are not related to my major because I just like them like psychology, philosophy, speech or so on....

5) I can't give you a definite answer for this question but just have some faith and stick with your major. Don't choose majors because it is easy to get in because you might regret doing that. Also, my little advice: you should choose your major based on your own INTEREST; take more general classes to explore the major you want if you are undecided.

6) If you get 3 or higher on the AP exams, many colleges and universities will give you a PASSING grade called either P (pass) or CR (credit); not A,B or C.

May be those answers help! If so, you are welcome!

i really don't understand what you expect someone to say. i mean "NO YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET IN BECAUSE YOU HAVE A 4.0."

seriously now...do you think you'll get rejected right off the bat for having a 4.0?
