My whole average grade this year is 97, which is equivalent to 7 (highest scroe), 81%-100% in the IB... ive elected as President for Student Council next year and have over 250 hrs of CAS... I've been participatin in school sports like basketball, baseball and soccer - though not in varsity. im plannin to do some secretarial works in hospitals and complete abt over 600 hrs this summer. il actively do some more thing next school year makin it over 1000 hrs.
For SAT, ive taken SAT 1 last May 6, and waitin for the result.. i know i didnt do quite well, bt the thing is that it wasnt as hard as i expected. I didnt study much coz of IB... il take it 2 more times next year as well as SAT 11 (bio, history, and Math). Ive taken a bio practice test without studyin anythin and got 560 over 800.. il need to work on reviews this summer. I dont know anythin abt calculatin GPA bt my class rank is highest 10%...you think i cud have shots at any IVY LEAGUE?? im greatly interested in philosophy, economics and genetic therapy or genetics...

Schools ive on my mind are Chicago U , Duke U, or NYu... Bt im definitely going for IVY or Harvard, if ever possible... u think il have my chance at Harvard or any IVY??

To be more specific abt my extracurricular activities, ive been in engineering club, baseball club, basketball club, and chess club and been making some of the documentations (footage for donation, publishing of CAS ntbk and powerpoint presentaions on CAS projects the whole G 11 had- which were requested quite confidentially by principals and teachers. Ive been attendin feeding programs with nuns, hospitals to give out gifts and to feed the patients there... This summer, i will do some secretarial tasks in neighborin hospitals.. il keep participatin events like feeding the poor, give-away of gifts to patients and stuff over this summer and throughout next year... i will have more than 1000 CAS as well as community service..
i also travelled Canada all alone last summer, i had known none, bt i went. I slept in hostels and met lots of people around the world and had fun...And last thing, im planning to go to Africa this summer as doing some work for poor and African people (I'm currently looking for programs held by U.N or any huge associations. Would it be bebneficial if il get my recommendation from our elementary school prinicipal who is an alumni of UPenn? will all dis help a lot getting into Harvard or any Ivy?
