what are her chances for a claremont pref: pomona with a 2000 SAT?
She took the sat 2 two weeks age but we don't have the results yet
thanks so much for any opinions or advice

Welcome to CC and congratulations on a D who's accomplished so much! She should have a good chance at getting admitted to Pomona.

she sounds pretty good. but i think to be safe she should hope for at least a 2150 SAT score.

hi thank you! still don't have her latest sat scores, but she went to her scripps interview/tour today, she really loved the school, i think it may have become her first pick! She thought that the interview went well, the woman who interviewed her had also been a ycs delegate, so they had a lot to talk about. we just want her to attend a school that will help her get the most out of herself.

scripps is a great school, and the campus looks like a mediterranean palace. if your daughter doesn't mind the all-girl situation, it's a great pick. with her competitive stats, however, she seems like ideal pomona material. make sure she applies here too!

bump please! thanks
