Help!! Chances for Harvard...

Hello!

I'm from India and want to apply to Harvard, Berkeley, Michigan, Chicago, Columbia and Cornell for a PhD in anthropology. My GRE score is 1410 (q-710; v- 700). Could someone tell me if my score is good enough for these schools? Or should I be making a different list? Also, would I'd be eligible for full scholarship?

Well, full scholarship in these schools is not on the basis of merit - if you get in, you get scholarship depending on your financial need.

I think the reason you aren't getting replies is that this "chances" thread is primarily for undergraduate admission and some transfer applications (as an undergraduate). Most people on here are not experts at graduate admissions (myself included). One of the reasons for this is that it is largely dependent upon your major, as well as the school.

For example, your GRE score may be quite good for a Philosophy major, but terrible for an engineering major if you were applying to Stanford. (just an example).

You might want to repost this in the individual school's sections--or in the section on graduate school--where there are likely people more qualified to give you more accurate responses (and where you are likely to get more replies).

Best of luck with your application.

I'm thinking about a 9% chance..
