I'm currently on a year long break, working and saving money for school and such. The break has been useful, because with a year of school completed at Tallahassee Community College, I really haven't known what I want to major in.

I'd like to teach middle school, and preferably social studies because I'm very passionate about that. But I realize that's not really a subject in demand. The idea is, once I've secured a job, I'd like to go on and get my Masters in Special Education and that would help.

I've been looking at FSU's program choices, and this is what I have come up with:

The Florida State University

But then I was looking at what UWF offers as far as education went, and I thought perhaps this social studies/math combo might be better and more marketable:

UWF - School of Education - B.A. Middle

Am I on the right track at all?

I'm quite overwhelmed with info at this point. Can anyone offer me any advice or corrections?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
