Help Choosing Classes

So I will be a college freshman this year in the fall. I want to major in nursing. Become a RN and then work as a Neonatal nurse (works in the NICU). I'm planning on going to Pasadena Community College. What classes do you advice me to take as my first year?

Have you gone through an orientation, yet? There are probably planning sheets online or at the counseling/advising office at your college. Usually the first year is spent in biology, chem, freshman writing, psychology, and other pre-nursing prerequisites. I just went to Google and typed in Pasadena CC nursing programs, and they have a PDF brochure online that you can download to look at prerequisite classes. Congrats on your decision, and I hope the brochure/website helps to answer your question. :)

Thank you so much! I am planning to go to the orientation in February. But I didn’t know about the PDF so I will check that out. Thank you again :)

You are welcome. I love ‘showing students’ how to find out lots of info prior to orientation. You will be well-versed and armed with a good list of questions when you go to orientation in February after studying the PDF and nursing info online. :)
