Help Choosing Colleges?

I'm thinking of applying to

University of Chicago
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Northwestern
University of Illinois at Chicago
Washington University in St. Louis

Just wondering, is this a good list? Any other colleges to which I should apply?
4.0 UW GPA 4.8 W GPA

Thanks

Your interests, long-term goals, and really anything about you other than you GPA and the fact that you [probably] live in Illinois might help…

OK, sorry, wasn’t too sure what I should put about myself.
I’m really interested in international affairs/relations. Foreign Languages.
I do a lot of community service at the library.
I play piano. My real passion is learning.
I took a Russian language college course over the summer and will be doing Russian II and III during the school year.

Anything else?
Thanks again

Anything else you need to know?

SAT/ACT scores?

ACT: 33
English 34
Math 36
Reading 29
Science 31
Writing 10

You should consider UMich and UWisc-madison. Do you want to stay in the midwest?

I actually have no problem traveling far. Thanks I just needed some feed back. Does UChicago seem a bit of a reach?

Collegeboard reports that UChicago that 43% of students have an ACT composite of 30-34. I’d say you’ve got a solid chance.

Chicago has too many top applicants with your stats and academic accomplishments for me to judge whether or not youll get in. Your essays will almost certainly be the deciding factor of whether or not youre accepted.

The same logic applies to Northwestern and WashU.

Thanks a lot for the feed back. I know they’ll be reaches, and I knew they’re would be many other applicants like me. I feel confident in my writing abilities. Just wanted to know if they’d even be worthwhile applying to. Thanks again, everyone.
