<p>Dear International CC'ers,</p>

<p>Thank you for taking your time viewing my thread.</p>

<p>I'm an international junior student from Turkmenistan currently studying in private school in US.</p>

<p>I have pretty good academic and athletic stats. Several national academic and athletic awards... :)</p>

<p>I'm interested in attending Ivies( it's a crapshoot, so you never know).</p>

<p>These days I'm creating a final list of potential colleges. and I don't know which colleges I should consider.</p>

<p>Financial AID is MY FIRST CONCERN - SO I'M LOOKING WITH COLLEGES THAT PROVIDE FULL RIDE OR ALMOST FULL RIDE</p>

<p>Could you please suggest me couple of colleges that provide generous fin aid:</p>

<p>If you could tell me your stats (the ones you have) and estimated scores etc., I could try to provide you with a list.</p>

<p>The Ivies (and the like) offer only need-based aid. You did not mention your family’s actual financial situation. Yes, you said financial aid is your first concern - but that does not mean whether you have money but don’t want to spend it for college or you don’t have money at all. If it is the former, you won’t have much luck with the Ivies for financial aid.</p>

<p>It is also hard to get a full ride being International.</p>
