Hi,

I am an international junior. I am now starting my plan for college by searching for colleges and have a list of them.

I plan to major in Economics so What school should I include in my list ? I include my stats here so could you please figure out for me some safties, reaches and matches ?

hai! are you from vietnam?

i think with all your accomplishments and your records
you'll get any college or university! you can check the min of SAT/ACT score by their website
i think 1000 SAT is more than enough because lots of college only need 700-800

Do you think so ? Only 1000 SAT ? I think it's unbelievable to get into Yale with that score. How did you know i am from Vietnam ?

Um, I would think Lipinski is joking. A 1000 cumulative SAT score is NOT going to get you into Yale, no matter what scale it's on, be it with or without writing.

I'd say your GPA is fine, ECs are fine, but include what you've done in high school only. Your elementary and middle school achievements aren't very important in the admissions process.

Do well on your SATs and I'm sure you have a shot.

Emory University is also a good economics school.

All the Ivies (in addition to Yale, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton) will give you a great economics education, as will Stanford, UChicago, and Duke.

Doing well on your SATs is the only missing link on what is otherwise a great application. But no application is a sure thing for Yale unless your last name is Yale (or Bush), so plan on applying elsewhere too.

Can anyone help me create a list of schools from safety to match and reach ?

What schools have the best ecomics education at undergraduate level ?

Can anyone help me ?

Probably a Liberal Arts College, but what's the fun in that?

What do you mean by that ?

What schools should I include in my list ?

No one can help me
