Hello everyone. I am currently taking math 1a at CC(De Anza) i was able to take 1A last quarter, however, i dropped it because the professor was horrible(my frd said no one got A for his class) I decide my major gonna be math not long time ago. I want to transfer next year. So I have to take math 2A and 2B at the same time during spring quarter which is next year. However, these two are pre-requisite for Cal and LA(i will try my best get in) my question is, Will those school reject me as i have to finish it at the same time during the last spring? Does it affect the chances getting in? Even though math is an non-impacted major. and What Ecs should i do? Until now, mine ECs are 0. Thank you!

PLease help me!!! thank you u guys

You won’t be rejected solely due to the fact that you complete pre-reqs in the spring prior to transfer. However, this could lower your chances. Make sure your GPA is high and you write a good essay (very important!). As for EC, I would say do something you enjoy. Join or found a club, for example. Any ECs are good. If you can find ECs that are major-related…even better!

thank you very very much!!! do you know some quicker way to finish all the pre-reqs earlier. like take semester classes at other school?

I don’t think they will take you if they don’t see you at least they see your calc 2 grade. find some summer school class.
they also wanna you finish linear algebra and differential equation done by spring.

you mean next spring? what else should i do? I’m pretty sad now, because i have to finish 1A through 1D and then take linear algebra and differential equation. That’s why i have to take 2A and 2B next year spring.
