Help! College advice and suggestions

Hello,
I am a senior in high school and before making my final decision of where to apply, I wanted to get some input.
I am looking for a school with lots of spirit, good academics but not extremely hard, good opportunities, sororities, etc. Basically your average middle size- big college.
I scored a 31 on my ACT (32 superscore) and have a 4.12 weighted gpa and 3.8 unweighted. My sister goes to Tulane which I really like it is also very far . I live in California and am applying to schools like UCSB, UCLA, USC, UCBerkeley, Cal Poly, and SDSU. I love the big schools like Indiana, Wisconsin, Boulder, UWashington, Umichigan, UTexas, but I don’t think I have a great chance of getting into a lot of those schools.

I have a ton of EC’s like leading a club, working, interning, National Honor Society, Varsity sports, volunteerwork etc. Could you guys give me your thoughts either on if there are schools that match what I want that I am missing and also what chances you think I have of getting into those schools? Thank you

Nebraska is Big 10, and because their COA even for OOS students is so low they pick up a lot more OOS than they used to, although I don’t know percentages. They have a strong Greek system, especially the sororities. Academics are solid but doable, it’s an R1 research University. The stadium holds 85,000 fans, and the last time they didn’t sell out a football game was literally before the moon landing. The whole state wears red football Saturdays. You may get some scholarship with that act, not sure.

If you are ok with the location, it seems to hit all of your boxes.

Check out SMU. Also the big Arizona schools.

It seems like you would love University of Iowa. Such a great college town, school spirit, pretty campus. I think you would qualify for honors program and automatic merit. D18 loved it, visited twice (thought UWisc, Indiana, UIUC were “meh”) and I still enjoy following their Facebook feed even though daughter eventually opted for USD (weather and water won out for this midwestern girl)

If you applied to UIowa tomorrow (about half an hour, no essays or recs, self-reported grades and scores), you would have acceptance by the end of the week. Nice safety.

Look at the merit at Kansas and Kansas State too. You would get auto merit, honors, nice inexpensive sorority system, big sports, nice towns.
